About Eric
Eric Etzel grew up in Eagle Point, Oregon, shaped by a nurturing mother who played piano and created warmth wherever she went, and a quiet, hardworking father who taught him that integrity isn't what you say, it's what you do. Those roots run deep in everything Eric brings to Spokane real estate.
His path to real estate was anything but straight. After earning his degree in Agricultural Economics at Oregon State, Eric spent years as a loan officer and appraiser at Northwest Farm Credit Services, building an understanding of property valuation and financial structures that most agents simply don't have. When a job loss threatened to derail him, he pivoted with the resilience he'd learned from the farm. And on January 2, 1990, he launched his real estate career.
Eric is also a SEALFIT-trained professional, having completed the civilian version of Navy SEAL training. That experience transformed his mindset and his practice: unwavering commitment, meticulous preparation, mental toughness under pressure, and a "no quit" attitude that his clients can always count on.
As a proud member of the By Referral Only community and agent with Choice Realty, Eric's approach is simple: relationships before transactions, always. Washington State Real Estate License #4476.0.

01
Embrace Change as a Catalyst for Growth
Every market shift, every life transition is an opportunity to evolve. Not a threat to resist.
02
Practice Empathy in Every Interaction
Real estate is about the most significant decisions in people's lives. Empathy isn't optional, it's essential.
03
Cultivate Resilience Through Adversity
It's not how many times you're knocked down, it's how many times you get back up, stronger.

Lead with Integrity and Trust
Trust is earned through consistent action, transparency, and keeping your word. Every single time.
05
Nurture Relationships Beyond Transactions
The closing is not the end. The best client relationships become lifelong friendships.

The moment you stop learning is the moment you start falling behind. Stay curious, always.
07
Practice Mindfulness and Present-Moment Awareness
Being fully present with a client, truly listening, changes everything about how you can serve them.

Balance Ambition with Contentment
Aim high and celebrate where you are. The joy is in the journey, not just the destination.

True fulfillment comes not from what you accumulate, but from what you give. Put clients first, always.
10
Embrace the Power of Community
We are shaped by our communities. Invest in them, show up, and help build something beautiful together.
